This lodge is a hidden gem nestled right on the edge of the enchanting forest. The peaceful location feels isolated, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation ensures a comfortable stay for the whole family. The hot tub is a wonderful addition to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the forest. The hosts are friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. The proximity to the woods allows for easy access to miles of beautiful walks and cycleways.
The only downside is some road noise from a nearby major road.

The lodge itself was spacious and clean, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the forest. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location was ideal, with easy access to Haldon Forest and Sandy Park Rugby Stadium. We loved exploring the forest trails and enjoying the outdoor activities. the lodge was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a comfortable and high-quality finish. It was ideally located on the edge of the forest, allowing us to easily access the miles of walks and cycleways directly from our doorstep. Despite its proximity to the A38, it felt isolated and peaceful, providing a truly tranquil atmosphere. the hot tub with forest views was a fantastic way to relax after our active days exploring the forest. Adrian and Tara, our helpful hosts, even allowed us to arrive early on my birthday and gave us a great recommendation for lunch at the Ley Arms, which turned out to be superb. Our family and dog had a wonderful time, and I couldn't have picked a better place for my 50th birthday weekend!
Nothing to dislike. 🙌.
